It’s snowing!
I must admit to a bit of childish glee when it snows.
Everything looks so pretty. Glittering and sparkly.
And with severe weather warnings for much of the UK it looks set to stay that way for a while.
The only problem with the snow is the cold wind that’s accompanying it. It’s playing havoc with my recuperation. I’ve become somewhat sedentary this past two weeks and I’m determined to get out and have a walk around the local lake once a day so that I’m fit and ready to go back to work next Monday. Today’s walk was markedly more difficult once the cold air got into my ailing lungs. Half way around the lake path I was coughing and hacking like a good ‘un.
I scared the ducks!
Tomorrow I’ll take them some bread to say sorry.

Hi there! Just stumbled upon your blog and have been having a quick read through. Hope you are feeling better now. It sounds like you’ve been having a bit of a rough time of it health-wise since the new year. I was like that this time last year – it was horrible, but you certainly appreciate your health once you get it back! 🙂
