I’ve been trying out a new camera and macro lens. They’re taking a bit of getting used to as I only ever use my little point ‘n shoot camera. I keep closing the wrong eye when I look through the viewfinder and then I can’t work out why I can’t see anything!
Thankfully I managed to work out my left from my right long enough to snap a couple of shots of Mother Nature at her best.
Even the gardeners arch nemesis, the humble dandelion clock, is beautiful when viewed close-up. I wish it were the same for me! I fear all my little crags and wrinkles would look like vast crevices under the scrutiny of a macro lens!
It’s the start of a 4-day weekend for me and I have all sorts of plans and ideas forming as to how I’ll spend my time. It foresee lots of sewing and playing with paper. Absolute bliss!
Enjoy your weekend!
