Oh I do so love autumn. Crisp fallen leaves, foggy mornings, ankle boots and a pocket full of conkers. If I were a season (a la Grease 2 – anyone else love that movie?) I would most definitely be Fall.
More than anything else I love the colours of autumn. Those vibrant reds, chestnut browns, dusky pinks and who can forget the intense orange of a freshly picked pumpkin. Just delicious!
Now that I have so much more free time during the day I’ve been making an effort to get out and about with my camera. I wanted to capture the essence of Autumn and I think these shots come pretty close. What do you think?
Sidenote: I grew this pumpkin! Crazy huh? I don’t know that I have the heart to carve it for Halloween.
Do you love autumn or are you someone who spends nine months of the year dreaming about summer?
Also you should watch Grease 2, if only for Michelle Pfeiffer’s singing. I need a cooooooool rider. A coo-oo-oo-ool rider…
