Today’s prompt for Blog Every Day In May is to give a shout out to some of our favourite bloggers.
Posie Gets Cozy – If you haven’t discovered Alicia’s blog yet then you’re in for a treat. Firstly her photos are beautiful, and often star her daughter Amelia, and are a lovely glimpse into their life. Secondly Alicia is the most wonderfully talented designer of soft toys and other crafty bits. I’ve got one of her ornament kits tucked away in my craft cupboard and I’m determined to finish it in time for Christmas this year.
Space For The Butterflies – Carie is the host for the What We’re Reading linky that I join every week. Her blog is a great mix of family and lifestyle posts along with a good dose of crafting (check out her knitting patterns!). Most of all her love for her husband and two (soon to be three) children shines through in everything that she writes.
Mark’s Veg Plot – If, like me, you’ve got a bit of a green thumb and you’re looking for a really good gardening blog then look no further. Mark’s blog focuses mainly on vegetable growing (something I am slightly obsessed with myself) but there are occasionally posts about flower gardening along with some great foodie bits.
A Saucy Stitch – Are you regularly to be found hitting the car boot sales first thing on a rainy Sunday morning? Or maybe you get a thrill from finding hidden treasure in your local charity shop. If so then A Saucy Stitch is the blog for you. Whether it’s showing us her latest charity shop finds or rustling up a Frozen cape for her daughter, Giddy Aunt Lola always has something fun to share. I love that she calls her other half “my current husband” just to keep him on his toes!
This Fashion Is Mine – I first came across Gwen’s blog when I was on the hunt for a new purse. What made me stick around is her friendly writing style and her wonderful blog photos (not surprising as she’s a professional photographer) and there’s a whole page of photography tips to help us newbies. You’ll also find nail art, fashion and beauty posts too.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg and it was hard to whittle it down to just five! If you want to see what else I’m reading then take a look at my Bloglovin feed. They’re all brilliant blogs covering lots of different topics so there’s bound to be something that appeals to you.
Now it’s over to you, who else should I be reading? Please leave me a comment with a link to your favourite blog (it can even be your own, I won’t mind!).
